DEEP is a BTA Babric mod that adds silver and lead metals, new tools and armor, and content for the caverns of b1.7.3.
What it does
Most of DEEP's additions focus on the caverns of Better Than Adventure. Silver is a rare gold found in both the overworld and the nether, and lead is a rare iron found only in the overworld. Silver tools behave like gold tools and can use silk touch, but they last much longer than gold. Lead tools resemble iron tools, with less durability and faster mining.
Silver armor sits close to iron armor, trading a little combat defense for a small loss of fall defense. Silver apples stack two to a slot, and each heals less than a golden apple but takes up less inventory space. Silver meshes behave like gold meshes but let items pass through, and silver throwing knives are fairly strong throwing weapons that break after use. The mod is a large set of additions, and players may find more than the author lists.
Environment: client and server. The server and every player need the mod. Files are published for BTA Babric, for b1.7.3 only, under the MIT License; the mod is not open source.
