Death Chests is a NeoForge server mod that places a chest holding a player's items at the spot where they died.

What it does

When a player dies, the mod creates two chests filled with that player's items, so the inventory is kept at the death location instead of dropping on the ground. Items in these chests are not lost, and the player can retrieve them afterward. Installation is server-side only: the server needs the mod, and players connecting to it do not have to install anything. The mod also works in singleplayer, where it is installed on the single client that runs the world. Files are published for NeoForge only, for 1.21 – 1.21.4, with 1.0 for 1.21.4 as the latest file, under All rights reserved.

This mod creates two chests with all of the players items in it when they die. So that they won't loose their stuff. This mod is server side only, meaning it can be installed on the server and the clients don't need this mod installed for it to work.
