Players who need recipes beyond the vanilla grid can use CustomCrafting, which builds custom recipes through an in-game GUI for crafting, cooking, smithing and other types.
What it does
Recipes are made in an editor opened with /cc, so no config file has to be written by hand. The mod covers several recipe types and can merge or copy NBT data from ingredients into results, and it can run Extensions when a recipe completes. Elite Crafting Tables add a custom inventory with crafting grids from 2x2 to 6x6, and their recipes are created in the Recipe Creator GUI after an item has been made in the Item-Creator.
CustomCrafting requires scafall. The project is open source under the GNU General Public License v3.0 or later. Fabric files are published for 26.2, with the latest build 5.0-alpha.4.0.0 released on 2026-06-22 on the alpha channel. The mod was first published on 2023-06-22 and covers 25 release versions, 1.16.5 – 26.2. Public source code, an issue tracker and a wiki are linked from the project.
