ctjs
by Synnerz
ChatTriggers, called CT, is a client-side framework that lets players and modders script the game in JavaScript and reload those scripts without restarting Minecraft.
What it does
CT runs modules written in JavaScript on the client. Each module is a folder with a metadata.json file and an index.js entry point, and the module's name must match the folder name exactly. When a module loads, CT runs its index.js file first. Scripts can be reloaded while the game is open, so changes take effect without a restart.
The framework supplies libraries, wrappers and objects that cover common tasks, so scripts stay short. Code that CT does not wrap can still reach Java classes and their native fields and methods directly. CT also lets a module define its own Mixins. The project's docs include a guided tutorial named Slate, which walks through the fundamentals and also serves as an API reference; some of Slate is out of date and is currently being revised.
The current rewrite is built for Fabric 1.21.x, and the repository keeps a deprecated Forge 1.8.9 version. Fabric API and Fabric Language Kotlin are required dependencies. The license is MIT and the source code and issue tracker are public.
Key features
Live script reloading
Scripts are reloaded while the game is running, so changes to a module can be tested without restarting.
Module structure
Each module uses a folder, a metadata.json file and an index.js entry point that CT runs first on load.
Helper libraries
Wrappers and objects cover common tasks, and any Java class can still be reached directly when no wrapper exists.
Custom Mixins
Modules can define their own Mixins to change game behavior beyond what the scripting API exposes.
Compatibility
Latest build for each game version and loader.
26.x4 of 4 versions with builds
1.21.x8 of 8 versions with builds
1.8.x1 of 1 version with builds
Only full game releases are shown. This mod publishes no snapshot builds.
Requirements
Dependencies declared by the latest file for each loader.

Use cases
Small client commands
A module can register a command, such as a calculator, that runs on the client with a few lines of script.
Chat and event scripts
Scripts can react to game events and chat messages, for example to highlight text or trigger actions.
Who it’s for: Modders who want to write client-side features in JavaScript, and players who want to add small personal tools without building a full Java mod.
