Create Railways Refuelled
by Matze997
Create Railways Refuelled changes which fuels the Steam 'n' Rails trains burn, and adds a realistic train option, for servers running Create.
What it does
The mod is built on top of two required dependencies, Create: Diesel Generators and Create: Steam 'n' Rails, and it changes the fuel those trains consume. Lava is removed from the list of accepted fuels, while bioethanol, seed oil and plant oil are added as alternatives. Fuel handling can be extended through datapacks, so a server owner can tune the fuel set without editing code.
A realistic train option is included for Steam 'n' Rails. Once enabled through the mod's configuration, datapacks for Steam 'n' Rails fuels take effect as intended, and the instructions for turning this option on are part of the author's documentation. The mod works on Fabric, Forge and Quilt for Minecraft 1.20.1 only, and the server needs it, while a client may leave it out.
Key features
Lava removed as fuel
Lava is taken out of the fuels the trains accept, so the trains run on the replacement fuels instead.
Bioethanol, seed oil and plant oil
These three fuels are added to the trains, giving players other ways to power their railways.
Datapack fuel changes
Fuel lists can be modified with simple datapacks, which lets a server owner change the accepted fuels without a rebuild.
Realistic train option
An optional setting makes the trains behave more like real locomotives when the realistic train option is enabled.

Use cases
Server fuel rules

Who it’s for: Server owners who run Create: Steam 'n' Rails and want a different set of accepted fuels, or a realistic train behavior, on Minecraft 1.20.1.
