Cosmos Portals
Cosmos Portals lets players build portals to any dimension, and within a dimension, to places of their choosing, requiring Cosmos Library.
What it does
A portal can be placed almost anywhere and link to a destination the player picks, so a trip no longer depends on a fixed Nether or End layout. Dimension containers store the target of a portal, and a Portal Dock can hold four or eight of them and switch between them through a linked Dock Controller block or a GUI.
Portal filtering limits which entities pass through a given portal, so a portal can admit only players, only mobs or only items. Textures were moved from the native 32x set to 16x to match the look of vanilla Minecraft, and 32x resource packs continue to work with the mod.
Cosmos Portals is published for Forge and NeoForge, with files for 1.20.1 and 1.21.1. It needs Cosmos Library, is installed on client and server, and is licensed as All rights reserved, so it is not open source. Source code and an issue tracker are publicly linked.
Key features
Portals anywhere
Portals can be created in any location, linking across dimensions or within the same dimension.
Portal docks
A Portal Dock stores four or eight dimension containers, and the Dock Controller block switches between them with a button press.
Named containers
Each dimension container can be given its own name colour to tell destinations apart at a glance.
Entity filtering
Portals can be restricted to players, mobs or items, so a single portal can serve a specific purpose.

Use cases
Long-distance travel
Players cross large distances with a portal instead of walking through the Nether or searching for a stronghold to reach the End.
Who it’s for: Players who want portal travel with more control over destinations, and server owners who want portal networks with entity-level rules.
