Cool End adds biomes, structures, mobs and resources to the End and the Overworld, so both dimensions gain new terrain to explore.

What it does

In the End, the mod introduces floating islands carrying temples and cities, along with unique biomes that have their own vegetation, creatures and rare materials. Overworld terrain receives additional biomes, more varied fauna and a smoother, more natural terrain generation pass.

Cool End runs on client and server, so both the server and every player need it. It is published for Fabric, Forge and NeoForge, with files for 1.19.4, 1.20.1 and 1.21.1. The license is All rights reserved, so the mod is not open source. Public documentation is available on its wiki.

Key features

  1. End floating islands

Floating islands in the End carry structures such as temples and cities, giving that dimension new places to visit.

  3. Rare materials and creatures

New resources and mobs live in the added biomes, adding material and fauna to the existing world.

Overworld terrain generation is adjusted to produce smoother, more natural ground in the affected areas.

Use cases

Exploring new End content

Players who have finished the vanilla End can travel to the floating islands and the new biomes to find structures they have not seen before.

Adding variety to a survival world

A world that already has vanilla biomes can gain new Overworld regions with different fauna and resources.

Who it’s for: Players who want more to explore in the End and the Overworld, and server owners who want new terrain and mobs on a shared world. Both sides need the mod installed.
