Cobblemon - MC Swords for Honedge Line

The data pack swaps the appearance of the Honedge evolution line without changing the creatures themselves. Each stage can take a texture modeled on a vanilla sword, so a Honedge can look like an iron, gold, netherite or copper sword. The textures are matched to the revamped Honedge line, and the pack adds two variants beyond the original set.

Cosmetic items added in a later Cobblemon release map to the matching stage, so Honedge, Doublade and Aegislash each have a corresponding item. Applying one changes the texture at once, which removes the need to wait for a self-evolution. Cobblemon - MC Swords for Honedge Line requires Cobblemon to run, and the Ruby Burger variant only appears when the BurgersRCool mod is also installed.

The mod is published as a data pack for Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt, for 1.21.1 only. Newer builds ship as packaged mods, while older builds are a data pack that goes into the world folder or a resource pack folder. Only the server needs the mod, and players may add it for the textures to appear on their side. The mod is released under All rights reserved, so it is not open source.
