Climatic
Climatic rewrites world generation so temperatures depend on direction, making cold biomes gather to the north and hot biomes to the south.
What it does
Biome temperature follows the compass in the generated world. Heading north leads toward cold biomes with snow, and heading south leads toward hot ones such as deserts, while travelling east or west changes the climate more gradually. The changes apply to new terrain, so the effect shows in worlds created after the mod is installed. Only the server needs it; players join without installing anything. Files are published for Fabric only, for Minecraft 1.21.1, under the MIT License, and the source code and issue tracker are public.
Key features
Directional temperature
Temperature shifts with direction, so the north side of a world holds colder biomes and the south side holds warmer ones.
Snow and cold biomes
Travellers heading north reach snowy and frozen biomes as the terrain gets colder.
Desert and hot biomes
Heading south leads to deserts and other hot biomes, changing where sand and similar terrain appears.
Compatibility
Latest build for each game version and loader.
Only full game releases are shown. This mod publishes no snapshot builds.
