Chat to Advancement

by th1s.aVa

Chat to Advancement lets a player click an advancement title in the chat bar and jump straight to that advancement's page in the advancement screen.

FabricClient and serverMIT LicenseOpen source1.21.11

What it does

When a chat message shows an advancement title, clicking it opens the advancement screen at the matching entry. This removes the need to scroll through the tabs to find a link someone else has posted. The behavior is a chat link, so it applies to any advancement title that appears in the chat log.

The mod is built for Fabric and targets 1.21.11 only, with a single Fabric file, 1.0.0 for 1.21.11, on the beta channel. It needs both the server and every player to run it so the feature works in multiplayer. Installation requires the prerequisite mods, which must be placed in the mods directory of the game instance. The code is open source under the MIT License, and the source code and issue tracker are public.

The author notes that compatibility with other advancement page optimization mods has not been checked and will be adapted gradually. The mod was first published on 2026-05-11 and last updated on 2026-05-22.
