Chameleon
Chameleon is a Fabric minigame in which hiders disguise themselves as blocks and seekers hunt them through the world.
What it does
A round starts with one player hosting through the settings menu, where the host sets spawn points, assigns hiders and seekers, and chooses the game settings. Hiders go first and paint their skin with a built-in editor so it matches the textures around them; the closer the match, the higher the chance of winning. When the timer runs out, they hide somewhere in the world while seekers stay frozen until the clock reaches zero and their compass map is handed out.
The mode is inspired by Meccha Chameleon, and the author credits the team behind that game. A single tag catches a hider, and the last hider left standing wins the round. Seekers have their F3+B nametags disabled, so the hunt relies on looking, not on debug overlays. The match controls stay with operators, and a hosting panel opens from the game menu, so a server can run rounds without external tools. Chameleon runs on client and server out of the box. Files are published for Fabric only, for 26.1.1, 26.1.2 and 26.2, with 1.1.1 for 26.1.2 as the latest file. The mod is published under All rights reserved and is not open source.
