CC: VS is an addon that lets computers placed on Valkyrien Skies ships read more ship information and, on Command Computers, control the ship.
What it does
The addon connects CC: Tweaked computers with Valkyrien Skies 2. It adds two APIs that computers on ships can call, giving them access to data about the ship they sit on. Ship data is exposed under both the name "ship" and the ship's own name when the program starts.
Command Computers receive an extended version of the same API, which keeps all the original methods and adds methods for direct control of the ship. Since version 0.0.8 the addon also ships in-game utility programs for building custom PID controllers, using code taken from a MIT-licensed repository by 19PHOBOSS98.
The mod is server-side only, so players join without installing it and only the server needs it. It requires CC: Tweaked, Kotlin for Forge and Valkyrien Skies. Files are published for Fabric and Forge across 1.18.2, 1.19.2 and 1.20.1, with 0.6.6 for 1.20.1 as the latest file. The code is open source under the Apache License 2.0.
