Cave Dweller Delight is a Forge addon with cave dweller mobs, drops, food and trophies, built for players who explore deep caves.

What it does

The mod adds the Cave Dweller mob and its related content to the cave encounters of a world. Most cave dweller encounters end with the player running for their life, and the mod gives the player a reason to stand their ground, hunt the creature and collect its unique drops. Those drops can be turned into food and trophies, and the mod adds fresh objectives and progression for a cave expedition.

Cave Dweller Delight works with Farmer's Delight, so the mob can be killed and cooked into dishes. Its dweller mobs use the cave_dweller mob ID, and it works with most Cave Dweller mobs and with Curios. Builds are published for Forge only, across six release versions 1.20.1 – 1.20.6, and the environment is client and server, so the server and every player need the mod. It is released under the MIT License but is not open source.
