CalcMod: NeoForged is an unofficial NeoForge port of the CalcMod chat calculator, which adds Minecraft-related functions to the chat.

What it does

The mod brings the CalcMod calculator from its original Fabric-era project, jsa2025, to NeoForge for Minecraft 1.21.1. It is an unofficial port maintained by f0x06, built from a GitHub upstream, and it covers the 1.21.1 version of the upstream mod. Its feature set matches the original, with no functions removed and a few added. Players type expressions into chat and receive results, and a click on the green text copies the result to the clipboard.

The build uses ForgeGradle 6 and ModDevGradle 2 with NeoForge. Metadata moves from mods.toml to neoforge.mods.toml, and Forge event-bus imports are replaced by their NeoForge equivalents. Craft.java and RecipeSuggestionProvider.java are backported from the newer RecipeDisplay API to the Recipe API used in 1.21.1. The jar is renamed calcmod-neoforged- so it can be told apart from official releases.

The mod is published for NeoForge only, with the latest file at 1.4.2 for 1.21.1, released on 2026-05-17. Every player and the server need a copy of the mod. The code is open source under the MIT License, and public links to the source and the issue tracker are available.
