CozyRosie's Bunis!

Bunis are a Mobs creature added to the world as a goofy nuisance. They spawn less often close to world spawn, under a block, or where the sky is open, and they appear more often as players travel further out. Rare variants are also meant to turn up in other dimensions.

Their behavior covers a long list of quirks: they eat picked ferns and flowers, swallow stray items left on the ground and store them up until full, swat other creatures with hammers, use axes for mitosis, and get dressed up in dye colors. A dye ingredient yields double the dye when a buni eats it. They dislike taking damage, are upset when they see friends hurt, and react to soul torches, lanterns and fires placed near them.

The mod is Client and server, so the server and every player need it. It is released under the GNU Lesser General Public License v3.0 only and is open source, with the source code publicly available. Files exist for Forge and NeoForge, for 1.20.1 and 1.21.1.
