Beryl
by xCollateral
Beryl is a Vulkan-based shader pipeline for Fabric that aims to improve graphics with a small performance cost.
What it does
Beryl ships an integrated shader pack, which lets the mod control the full rendering pipeline and tune it for speed. It runs on the Vulkan graphics API and requires VulkanMod to run. Beryl is client-side only, so only the player's client needs it, and the mod is published for Fabric across 8 release versions, 1.21 – 26.1.2, under All rights reserved and is not open source.
Key features
Vulkan rendering
Shaders run through the Vulkan graphics API rather than the default OpenGL path.
Integrated shader pack
A built-in shader pack ships with the mod, so no separate shader pack is needed to start.
Pipeline control
Owning the rendering pipeline lets the mod tune it directly for lower performance cost.
