What it does

Quartz ore generates in the overworld within six different stone variations, so a quartz source can be found while exploring ordinary caves and cliffs. Compared with the Nether, the ore spawns less often and in smaller batches. The mod is server-side only, so players join without installing anything, and it is published for Forge and NeoForge with files for 1.20.1, 1.21.1 and 1.21.8. Ay's Overworld Quartz is not open source and is released under All rights reserved.

Key features

  1. Overworld quartz ore

Quartz ore generates in the overworld as well as in the Nether, giving a non-Nether source of the mineral.

  2. Six stone variations

The ore can spawn within six different stone types, so it appears in more than one kind of terrain.

  3. Rarer, smaller veins

Overworld quartz spawns less frequently than Nether quartz and in smaller batches.
