Wordle Blocks

by LSGBri10

Wordle Blocks adds letter blocks that Minecraft has no vanilla use for, built mainly around playing Wordle in the game.

FabricClient and serverCC0 1.0 Universal1.21.8 – 1.21.11

What it does

The mod adds letter blocks to the game, which vanilla Minecraft does not include in that form. They are designed mainly for building a Wordle minigame. The author created the mod after a friend wanted a world with that kind of content. Wordle Blocks runs on Fabric and needs both the server and every player to install it, since the environment is client and server. Builds cover 1.21.8 – 1.21.11, and the mod is released under CC0 1.0 Universal, so it is not open source.

Key features

  1. Letter blocks

Individual letter blocks can be placed to spell words and form the boards used in a Wordle game.

  2. Three-colour feedback

The minigame uses three colours to mark letters, matching how Wordle reports correct and misplaced guesses.

  3. Minigame focus

The blocks serve a Wordle minigame in particular, and the author notes other ways to use them.

What the author says

Created this for a friend and thought the rest of the world might like it. I made this for the purpose of Wordle minigames as it only has the three different colours to choose from but you can use it in other ways as well.
