by crontent

FabricClient and serverAll rights reserved1.20 – 1.21.11

What it does

Between the vanilla classics, the 22 songs revive the nostalgic feel of the first Volume Alpha and Volume Beta albums. Seven of the music discs are obtainable through custom loot chests, villager trades and events, and the 15 tracks play in the game as world music.

Players can enable or disable individual songs, mark favourites with a like toggle, and add songs in both creative and survival. Presets allow a player to switch off modern soundtracks, and custom presets can be built from the song list. The mod runs on Fabric and is a client and server mod, so both the server and every player need it. Files cover 1.20 – 1.21.11 across nine release versions, with 1.0.1-lite for 1.21.1 as the latest file, and the code is not open source, under All rights reserved.

Key features

  1. 22 original songs

The mod adds 22 new tracks written in the spirit of C418's soundtrack, composed from scratch.

  2. 15 world tracks

Fifteen in-game tracks are added to the world music rotation, alongside the seven music discs.

  3. Song like toggle

Each song can be liked or disliked and its state enabled or disabled, so players control what plays.

  4. Custom presets

Presets can be switched on at once, such as disabling the modern soundtracks, or built by the player.
