V-Bucks
by DeltaNedas
V-Bucks adds a Fabric currency system for 1.16.5 built around a new ore, crafted blocks and a multi-step progression to a glowing V-Bucks item.
What it does
Players start by mining Vinderium Ore, which is found rarely and sits in the same range as diamond. Crafting Vinderium Blocks from the ore and smelting them yields V-Buck shards, and combining shards through the crafting grid gradually produces the full glowing V-Bucks item. The mod is released under the GNU Lesser General Public License v3.0 only and is open source, with its source code and issue tracker publicly available. It runs on client and server, so either side needs it, and it has been published for 1.16.5 only.

What the author says
To get started, mine Vinderium Ore, which is roughly as rare as Diamond. Craft its chunks into Vinderium Blocks and smelt them into V-Buck shards.
