Slimeology
by lapisliozuli
Slimeology adds coloured slime blocks and balls that stick, bounce and launch like the vanilla slime block, plus new slime spawns in the world.
What it does
Coloured Slimeballs can be crafted into Coloured Slime Blocks using the same nine-to-one recipe as the vanilla slime block. Nine balls of one type make a block of that colour, and nine mixed balls produce a Rainbow Slime block. A vanilla slime block can be washed by filling a cauldron with water and right-clicking it, which turns it into a Coloured Slime Block of its own colour.
Coloured Slime Blocks behave like the vanilla block for bouncing, sticking and launching entities, and they stick to other coloured blocks as well as Honey Blocks. A piston cannot move a coloured block that sticks to a different colour. The world gets extra slime: biome spawning is adjusted through the config, and slime chunks gain natural slimy interstitia on the surface. Slimeology needs Auto Config to be installed as well.
The mod is client and server, so the server and every player need it. It is published for Fabric only, across six release versions 1.16.1 – 1.17.1, under the MIT License, and its source code is open source.
