SimpleTPA by JordanGbu

by JordanGbu

SimpleTPA lets players send teleport requests to each other, and the target accepts or denies them from clickable chat messages.

FabricForgeClient or server, optionalAll rights reserved1.12.2 – 1.21.11

What it does

Players send a teleport request to another player, who accepts or denies it. Accept and deny are clickable chat messages, so a request resolves in one click. Messages and teleport cooldowns are configurable, so server owners can change the wording and set how often a player may request a teleport.

The mod works in LAN worlds as well as on dedicated servers, and it is compatible with the Essentials mod for inviting friends into a world. Only the server needs it for the full feature set, while a single-player or LAN world can run it on the client. Files are published for Fabric and Forge across 20 release versions, 1.12.2 – 1.21.11, and it is licensed under All rights reserved, so the code is not open source.

The latest builds, 1.1 for 1.21.11, were released on 2026-05-17. The mod first appeared on 2026-04-21, and the issue tracker is the public place to report problems.

Key features

  1. Teleport requests

A player sends a request to another player, who can accept or deny it before any teleport happens.

  2. Clickable chat replies

Accept and deny appear as clickable chat messages, so the target does not need to type a command.

  3. Configurable messages

The text of request and result messages can be changed to suit a server's language or tone.

  4. Teleport cooldowns

A cooldown limits how often a player can send teleport requests, and the value is set in the config.

Use cases

Small survival servers

A group of players on a shared server can visit each other's bases without a teleport command for every trip.

LAN play with friends

Players hosting a LAN world can teleport to one another through chat requests.

Who it’s for: Server owners who want player-to-player teleporting with a configurable cooldown, and players in LAN worlds who want chat-based requests.

Questions

Does the server need the mod installed?

The mod works on either side, and neither needs it. Installing it on the server gives players the teleport requests, and it works in a single-player or LAN world on the client alone.

Which loaders are supported?

Files are published for Fabric and Forge. The latest Fabric and Forge files are both 1.1 for 1.21.11.

Can the cooldown and messages be changed?

Yes. Teleport cooldowns and messages are configurable, so a server can adjust both to its needs.
