SimpleClans
SimpleClans lets players form clans on a Fabric server, with several clans per player and one primary clan shown above the name.
What it does
Clan leaders invite players into private clans, and invited players accept or decline. A player can belong to more than one clan at the same time, and chooses one primary clan that appears in the chat, the player list and above the name. Commands that affect a clan ask the player to pick the target clan when several apply, which avoids mistakes.
The system is configurable, and server admins can decide whether a player may join multiple clans. Clan chat is private to members, and clan leaders can kick or ban members. An optional graphical interface is available for managing clans. The mod is built for SMP communities, RPG servers and large multiplayer networks that want a full clan system.
Only the server needs it, and players join without installing anything. The mod is published only for Fabric, for game version 26.2, with build 1.0.0 released on 2026-08-04. It is licensed as All rights reserved and is not open source.
Key features
Multiple clans per player
A player can belong to several clans at once, which sets it apart from single-clan systems in older clan mods.
Primary clan display
One chosen clan is shown in chat, the player list and above the player's name.
Private clan chat
Members talk in a chat channel that other players cannot read, kept apart from global chat.
Invitations and membership control
Clans send invitations, members accept them, and leaders kick or ban members when needed.
Compatibility
Latest build for each game version and loader.
Only full game releases are shown. This mod publishes no snapshot builds.
Use cases
Community servers
Survival communities can organize players into groups that share a chat and a visible tag.
RPG and networks
RPG servers and large multiplayer networks can rely on clans for group structure without extra plugins for basic membership.
Who it’s for: Server owners running survival, RPG or multiplayer networks who want configurable clans. Players join without installing the mod, so it suits public servers.
How it compares
ClanCraft Tjifty is a Fabric mod for 26.1, released under the MIT License, and it needs the client and server. Sengoku Clan Gestionary is server-side only, covers 1.21.1 – 1.21.11 on Fabric and is licensed as All rights reserved. SimpleClans covers only 26.2, so players on older versions cannot use it.
