Roman Minimap
Roman Minimap is a Fabric client mod that draws a minimap with waypoints, coordinates, time readouts and a compass rose on the HUD.
What it does
The minimap renders terrain with true block colors and smooth rotation, and its zoom, shading and keybindings can be adjusted. Waypoints can be set, pinned to the outer circle of the map, and managed, including teleporting the player to a chosen point. Coordinates along with the real-world day and night cycle and elapsed in-game time are shown alongside the map.
Because it is a client-side only mod, the server never needs it, and players can add it to any server or single-player world without asking the server owner to change anything. Roman Minimap is published for Fabric only and has files for 1.21.1. The mod is released under the CC0 1.0 Universal license and is not open source, so the code is public domain in spirit rather than open for contributions. Its latest Fabric file is 1.0.4+build.310, dated 2025-12-03, and the first release came out on 2025-10-23.
