Powah! ReFabric is a Fabric port of the Powah energy mod, with machines and items that generate, store and transmit power on Minecraft 1.21.1.

What it does

The mod adds several ways to generate energy, store it in containers and move it between blocks through cables and transfer nodes. The project is a rearchitected port: it does not copy the original mod line by line, and it was rebuilt for Fabric after the original Forge builds were dropped. It needs Cloth Config API and Fabric API, both of which must sit next to it.

Because the environment is client and server, the server and every player need the mod. Files target Fabric and 1.21.1 only, and the latest file is 5.1.0, published on 2025-11-19. The source code and issue tracker are public, and the code is released under the GNU Lesser General Public License v3.0 only, which makes it open source.

Key features

  1. Energy generation

    Several generator blocks produce power from different inputs, feeding the network that the other machines draw from.

  2. Energy storage

    Storage blocks hold power for later use, so a network can buffer output between peaks of demand.

  3. Energy transmission

    Cables and transfer nodes carry power between generators, storage and consumers across a base.

  4. Credits and textures

    New textures were contributed by Cyn, and the author thanks Technici4n and other contributors for their work.
