网络音乐机:不是显示来源?(netmusic:display)
by zhenyanmian
With 网络音乐机:不是显示来源?(netmusic:display) installed, a Create Display Link can show song names, playback status and lyrics on display boards.
What it does
The module connects Create's Display Link to the Net Music CD Player, so a display board can show information about the song that is playing. Pointing a Display Link at the player and selecting a data source chooses what appears: the song name, playback status, original lyrics, translated lyrics, or a combined multi-line view. Song titles and artists can also be shown, and bilingual lyrics can appear on a flip-card display. The data is collected by Create's server-side Display Source system, so the server must run the mod as well as the players.
The mod depends on Create and Net Music, and both must be installed alongside it. The jar goes into the mods folder, and the mod is client and server, so the server and every player need it. Lyrics are fetched and cached on the server through the NetEase Cloud Music API, so clients need no extra data for them. The source code is public and the mod is released under the MIT License, so it is open source. Files target 1.20.1 – 1.21.11 for Forge and NeoForge, covering 17 release versions.

How it compares
NetMusic: LoginNeed is an MIT License mod for Fabric, Forge and NeoForge, covering 1.19.2 – 26.1.2, that is client or server optional. ZMusic is client-side only, open source under the GNU General Public License v3.0 only, and covers 1.12.2 – 26.2 on Fabric, Forge and NeoForge. This mod differs by needing both the server and clients and by pairing with a display link for in-world displays.
