Modern Jujutsu replaces the default combat interface of the JujutsuCraft sorcery mod with a sleek, minimalist HUD and a full-screen cinematic for Domain Expansions.

What it does

The mod is a complete visual overhaul for JujutsuCraft. It swaps the stock heads-up display for a clean, minimalist layout with a modern progress bar for actions such as giving cursed energy. Every part of the interface can be toggled, and the settings screen opens with the K key, which can be rebound.

Its highlight is a full-screen cinematic that plays when a player unleashes a Domain Expansion, with animation meant to make the move feel more forceful. The HUD also includes a combat panel showing the selected technique, its cursed energy cost and a stylish cursed energy bar, a movement display with icons for flying, double jumping and backstepping, and a compact Six Eyes analysis panel that shows a target's health, armor and gear.

Modern Jujutsu is Forge only and is built for 1.20.1. It is client-side only, so only the player's client needs it, and the server can keep running JujutsuCraft without it. It is released under the Apache License 2.0, and its code is not open source.

Does Modern Jujutsu need to be installed on the server?

No. Only the player's game needs it, and servers run without it. Other players do not need it either, even when joining a server running JujutsuCraft.
