Mipmaps StationAPI
by ralf2oo2
Mipmaps StationAPI is a Babric mod that adds mipmapping to Minecraft b1.7.3, with StationAPI required alongside it.
What it does
Mipmapping stores scaled-down copies of each texture and switches between them by distance, which reduces shimmering on distant blocks. Only the client needs the mod, so servers run without it. Builds target b1.7.3 and are published for Babric, with snapshot builds available.
Key features
Four mipmap levels
Textures are generated at four reduced resolutions, so distant surfaces draw from smaller copies.
Built on StationAPI
The mod hooks into StationAPI, which must be installed for it to load on b1.7.3.
Optional debug view
A debug view shows the mipmap levels in use, useful for checking how textures are sampled.
Gallery
No per-version build data
Modrinth lists game versions for this project (b1.7.3), but the source data has no build per game version and loader, so the compatibility grid is not shown.
