Joy Mod
Joy Mod, a Pridecraft Studios project for Fabric and Quilt, adds pride-themed mobs, decorations, paintings, beds and candles to Minecraft 1.21.1.
What it does
Joy adds a range of LGBTQ+ pride content to the game, including paintings, beds, mobs and candles. Variants are added to existing vanilla mobs, such as trans bees, and some pride variants are backported into the bundle. Blahaj and a pride Blahaj are included as mobs.
The mod is the flagship of Pridecraft Studios, a collective of volunteers that makes resource packs and tooling. Its decorations are bundled with the sister mod Pride Pack, which provides its own set of decorations. The client and server both need the mod, and Fabric and Quilt are the only loaders with files, both for 1.21.1 only. The latest file is 1.0.0-alpha.10 for 1.21.1, published 2025-04-15 on the alpha channel.
Joy is not open source, and it is licensed under a custom license with several parts. The code is available under MPL-2.0, the core code taken from DaFuqs' hibiii is under the Unlicense, and the Pride Blahajs taken from musicalskele are under the MIT License. The soundtrack is under ARR with additional permissions, and credit must be given to WorldWidePixel.
