HoverBoard adds a rideable board that floats above the ground, made at a crafting table from common materials plus obsidian.

What it does

The board hovers about 0.6 blocks above the surface, so it glides over uneven terrain. Its step height of 2.1 blocks lets the rider cross small steps and rough ground without losing speed. A player places the board on the ground and right-clicks it to mount.

The board is fireproof, so it can cross lava lakes without damage, which suits exploration of the Nether. Its trail uses end rod particles while moving. Falls cause no damage to a rider. The mod is released under the MIT License and is not open source.

HoverBoard is published for Fabric and NeoForge, with files for 1.21.10 – 26.3 and 1.0.2-26.3 as the latest build. Both sides need it, so the server and every player must run the mod.
