Hells Paradise

Reaperite armor gives its wearer several buffs. Wearing the full set raises speed and jump height, and it prevents fall damage. The armor also changes the ground under a player, turning lava beneath their feet into basalt in the way the Frost Walker enchantment freezes water. A separate screen saver effect keeps the player's inventory on death, much like the keepInventory rule.

Reaperite is not gathered directly. Making the armor ingot requires a harder crafting recipe, and that recipe becomes available only after the player completes a set of missions. The grim reaper's scythe tools use the same material. Advanced Netherite and Item Alchemy must be installed alongside Hells Paradise, and ToolTipFix is optional for clearer item tooltips.

The mod runs on Fabric and Quilt for 1.19.2 – 1.20.1, with files for 1.19.2, 1.19.3, 1.20 and 1.20.1. Client and server must both run it, so every player on a server needs the mod too. The latest file is 1.1.0 for 1.20.1, published on 2023-09-11. The mod is released under All rights reserved and is not open source, though its source code and issue tracker are publicly linked.
