Ghast Pedal! - Continued lets a player sprint while riding a Happy Ghast, which gives the ghast a modest speed boost.

What it does

Sprinting while seated on a Happy Ghast raises its flight speed by 30%, the same percentage boost a sprinting player gets on foot. The effect follows the sprint key used for camels, so the rider holds that key to speed up the ghast, and pressing forward twice does not trigger it.

The field of view also changes during sprinting, matching vanilla behavior, so the change feels familiar. The mod is a port of Wjph2k10's HyperionDash, adapted to Happy Ghast riding. Only the server needs the mod, and players may add it without needing it to join.

Ghast Pedal! - Continued is published for Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt, with builds covering the 26.x line and the 1.21.6 release through 26.3 across 11 release versions. It is released under the MIT License and is not open source.
