Free Spirited

Free Spirited changes how the player moves through the air and along surfaces. A dash key sends the player forward, and a separate bash key drives the dash through obstacles. Variable jumps let a held jump key carry the player higher and longer, in the style of platformers such as Mario and Ori. Coyote time gives a three-tick window to jump after stepping off a block, and double jumps reset when the player touches a wall.

Wall sliding starts when the player moves toward a wall at about a 45 degree angle, which slows the fall. Climbing, swimming and hopping out of water are also covered, and the mod overhauls the core movement code to support airborne steering and precise platforming. The mod needs Customizable Player Models to run, and the mod's latest version requires that library's latest release. A server running it needs every connecting player to have it too.
