Elytra Recast
by Luna
Elytra Recast lets a player bounce off the ground while gliding and keep the elytra active without recasting it.
What it does
Landing on the ground with an elytra normally ends the glide. With Elytra Recast, holding jump on landing bounces the player back into flight, so no second jump press is needed to restart the elytra. The mod is a Fabric client mod for 1.19 – 1.21.3, released under the MIT License and open source. Only the client needs it, and it works alongside Cloth Config API and Mod Menu when those are present.
Key features
Bounce on landing
Touching the ground with an elytra bounces the player back up instead of ending the glide.
Hold jump to stay airborne
Holding the jump key during the landing keeps the elytra active, instead of requiring a separate jump to start it again.
Hop straight back into flight
The player returns to flight directly after the bounce, without the recast step.

What the author says
When landing on the ground with elytra, hold jump to keep elytra active and instead jump again with it. This lets you hop straight back into flight instead of needing to recast. This is mostly a mod I made for myself so it only works in single-player.
