Distinct Leaders changes how zombie leaders look, giving them red eyes, a larger body and a custom texture so they stand out in a crowd.

What it does

Zombie leaders get a clear visual marker in the game: red eyes, a bigger size that also changes the hitbox, and a custom texture that can be replaced through a resource pack. The mod notes that MC-219981 still lets players see the leaders. Files are published for Fabric and NeoForge across six release versions, 1.21.6 – 1.21.11, under the MIT License, which is not open source. Only the client needs it, and vanilla servers are allowed.

This mod adds a clear visual marker to zombie leaders, making them instantly recognizable in-game. In versions before 26.1-Snapshot-1, zombie leaders spawn with the same health as regular zombies due to MC-219981, but you will still be able to see that they are leaders.
