Custom Health Bar

by evaraphi

Custom Health Bar changes how the Minecraft health bar is drawn in Java Edition 1.7.10 on Forge.

ForgeClient-side onlyMIT License1.7.10

What it does

The mod recolors the default health bar in later layers, so the bar stays readable as health stacks up. It can also replace the custom health bar rendering that other mods use, so one display takes over. Only the client needs it: players install it, while servers run without it and neither side requires anything else. Files are published for Forge only, with a single version, 1.0.0 for 1.7.10, released on 2022-06-01. The mod is released under the MIT License and is not open source.

Key features

  1. Recolored health layers

Later health layers are drawn in different colors than the default bar, so each layer can be told apart at a glance.

  2. Overrides other health bars

The mod replaces the custom rendering of other mods' health bars with its own display.

  3. Custom absorption color

The color of the absorption bar can be changed to suit the rest of the health display.
