Create Aeronautics: Gadgets & Gizmos

The addon adds controls and devices for physics contraptions. Work on a larger update is underway, with plans for a full GUI on the Ship Control Module and better support for ground vehicles, planes and boats. Both the server and every player need it, since the controls operate on the contraption itself.

CC:Tweaked peripheral support covers major systems such as thrusters, bearings, gearbox, joystick and controller. A script can drive single devices or whole groups of attached thrusters. The mod also bundles an in-game documentation browser at /rom/thrusters/docs.lua and a bridge that reads data from the Advanced Contraption Controller to chart it inside CC:Tweaked. The mod is not open source; it is released under All rights reserved, and public links to the source code, issue tracker and wiki exist.

Current support has limits. Planes, boats, ground vehicles and sail-like blocks on bearings do not yet work correctly, and most features are fully supported only with the thrusters the addon itself adds. Support for other propulsion mods is still being developed. The mod was first published on 2026-05-05 and last updated on 2026-10-15.
