Create Aeronautics: Carworks is an addon for Create Aeronautics that makes general vehicle creation easier, with a linker tool for connecting parts.

What it does

The addon focuses on building land vehicles inside the Create Aeronautics framework. It adds controls for gearing up and gearing down, so a vehicle's drive can be shifted while it is assembled and used. Right-clicking air with the linker tool switches its mode, and right-clicking a compatible block links it to the current selection.

Building with the linker follows a sequence: select target 1, select target 2, then use shift with a right click to link them. Resetting the linker tool clears all selections so a build can start over. The addon needs Create, Create Aeronautics and Create: Diesel Generators installed beside it. Carworks runs on client and server, so the server and every player need it. It is published for NeoForge 1.21.1 under the MIT License and is open source; the source code and issue tracker are public.
