cps limiter

by F1xASASASASA

CpsLimiter is a Fabric utility that caps the clicks per second a player can register and shows the live click rate on screen.

FabricClient-side onlyMIT License1.21.2 – 1.21.11

What it does

The mod sets a technical limit of 20 clicks per second on attack speed and displays a real-time CPS counter above the hotbar through the HUD action bar. Its author notes that the cap keeps performance stable on PvP servers and avoids unnecessary suspicion from anti-cheat systems, since clicking above a fixed rate is what such systems usually flag.

Beyond the limiter, the mod can show the CPS of other players directly beside their nicknames, marked with a small green indicator placed to the left of the name. Installing it on the client is enough to see these readings, and it works on Minecraft 1.21.8 Fabric as well as the rest of the 1.21.2 – 1.21.11 builds. The mod is released under the MIT License, and it is not open source.

CpsLimiter was made specifically for members of the PHL community, and it combines click limiting with real-time click rate monitoring in one mod. The latest Fabric file is 1.0.0 for 1.21.11, published on 2026-01-04, and the same date is the first publication and last update.

Key features

  1. Attack speed cap

Clicks are limited to 20 per second, which sets a fixed ceiling on attack speed in every game.

  2. Live CPS display

A counter above the hotbar shows the current clicks per second through the HUD action bar.

  3. Nickname CPS indicator

Other players' click rates appear beside their nicknames, marked by a green indicator on the left.

  4. Monitoring in one mod

Click limiting and click rate monitoring are handled together, so no second counter mod is needed.

Use cases

PvP servers

Players on PvP servers can keep their click rate under a fixed cap and watch it while they fight.

Spotting high click rates

With the nickname indicator, a player can see the click rate of others, which helps when judging a fight.

Who it’s for: Players of the PHL community and other players on PvP servers who want a fixed click cap with a visible click counter. Server owners need nothing installed on their side, since only the client runs the mod.
