Cobblemon Journey Mounts

Cobblemon Journey Mounts adds Pokémon that players can ride for travel across water, cliffsides and high-altitude routes in Cobblemon worlds.
What it does
Riding is provided by the Pokémon themselves. Several species serve as water mounts for surfing oceans and rivers, and others are flying-capable for gliding and high-altitude travel. The additions are built on Cobblemon 1.7 and cover more than 280 rideable Pokémon.
The mod works alongside Mega Showdown, MissingMon and ZA Megas, so mounts from those add-ons can be used in the same world. Installation requires Cobblemon on the server, and the mounts are supplied as data pack content for server platforms. Files are published for Fabric and NeoForge for 1.21.1 only, under the MIT License, and the project is not open source.
The server must run the mod, while players may install it or leave it out. Players who join without it can still ride the mounts once the server runs it, because the mounts are handled on the server side.

Water mounts
Pokémon such as Lapras and Blastoise can carry a rider across oceans, rivers and other water surfaces.
Flying mounts
Flying-capable Pokémon glide over terrain and climb to high altitudes, shortening long overland trips.
Cliffside routes
Mounts such as Butterfree and Clefable cover steep ground that walking would make slow.
Large rideable roster
The mod includes more than 280 new rideable Pokémon, including Nidoqueen, Nidoking, Wigglytuff and Ninetales.
