Cleaner Menu

by RobertHehe

Cleaner Menu strips clutter from the Minecraft title screen, removing the Realms button, the splash text, the edition label and the small links along the bottom of the screen.

FabricClient-side onlyApache License 2.01.21

What it does

Cleaner Menu changes only the title screen. Its author describes the goal as a tidier start screen, so the Realms button, the random splash text, the edition name and the small links along the bottom are hidden, and the logo is left as the main element. Players who run a modpack get the same clean screen every time they launch the game.

Settings are kept in the in-game configuration screen, where each element can be changed without editing files. The mod is client-side only, so a server does not need it and players can add it on their own. Released under the Apache License 2.0; the code is not open source, and it is published for Fabric only, for Minecraft 1.21.

Key features

  1. Realms button removed

The button that opens Minecraft Realms is taken off the title screen, for players who never use it.

  2. Splash text removed

The rotating yellow splash line under the logo is hidden, so the logo stands alone.

  3. Edition label removed

The text that names the Minecraft edition is hidden from the title screen.

  4. Bottom texts hidden

The small texts along the bottom of the title screen are removed, leaving a plainer layout.

  5. In-game settings

Each element can be switched on or off from an in-game configuration screen.
