With Create: Blocks & Bogies installed, train builders can swap in a wider set of bogie styles, including valve-gear variants, from a selection screen.

What it does

The mod adds larger train bogies to Create, in versions with valve gear and without it. Each bogie uses one of several driver styles, such as Walschaerts, Gearless, Pistonless, Rodless and Scotch Yoke. Single-axle bogies reach up to 5 axles on Extra Large drivers or 6 axles on Large drivers, and standard small truck bogies run up to 5 axles. A trailing small bogie with 1 to 4 axles is also included.

Create is required, and Create 6.0 or newer is needed to run the mod. Create: Steam 'n' Rails is not needed. The mod works on client and server, so the server and every player need it. Files are published for Forge and NeoForge, for 1.20.1 and 1.21.1, under the GNU Lesser General Public License v3.0 only, which makes it open source.
