Blind Deaf Mute Challenge gives each player a disadvantage, such as blindness, deafness or muting, that is set by a goal they can beat or fail.
What it does
A player sets a challenge goal and receives a tag below their username that shows the chosen disadvantage, so other players can see it. Muting works through Simple Voice Chat, blocking the player from speaking in game chat. Deafening limits what the player can hear and silences in-game sounds, and turning up the volume in settings does not undo it. Blindness applies a permanent blindness effect that can be removed with a totem or milk.
The mod was inspired by Drdonut's stream and video about the same challenge, which describes three people choosing one disadvantage each. Only the player's client needs it, while a server may add it for extra features. Files exist for 1.21.11 and 26.2, with v2-Beta for 26.2 as the latest build, released under the MIT License but not open source.
