Better Glider Crafting

The datapack replaces the crafting recipe for the glider with a cheaper one, so a player can build an average glider with fewer materials than the original recipe requires. The mod does not add gliders, models or animations of its own; it only changes how the existing item is crafted. The mod is intended for use with Farmer's Delight Refabricated, and its author notes say it was made as a personal datapack that is now shared.

Better Glider Crafting is a server-required mod with an optional client side: the server must run it, while players may leave it out. It is released under the GNU General Public License v3.0 or later and is open source, and its source code and issue tracker are public. Files are published for Fabric, Forge and NeoForge, and the Data pack option is available for server use. Every file is for 1.21.1 and was first published and last updated on 2025-12-13, on the beta channel.

The mod requires Gliders to work. Its recipe changes only apply when Gliders is installed, and the author states that reinforced paper is one of the ingredients needed to craft the reworked glider. The author also notes that the change is intended to adjust the balancing of the original mod to suit personal taste rather than to attack its developers.
