BannerBoat lets players decorate a boat with a custom banner, for a boat that carries only one player.

What it does

Players can apply a banner to a boat so the vessel shows a custom design. The boat still carries only one player, so the banner is purely decorative. Server owners install it on the server, and players connecting to that server need nothing extra, because only the server side requires the mod. Builds exist for Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt, across 16 release versions 1.21 – 26.2, and the mod is released under All rights reserved, so it is not open source.

Key features

  1. Custom boat banners

    A boat can be decorated with a banner of the player's choice, changing how the vessel looks on the water.

  2. Single-rider boats

    Boats decorated with BannerBoat still seat only one player, so the banner does not change how many can ride.

  3. Server-side install

    Servers run the mod, and players connect without installing it, though the client may add it for the visual change.
