All-Terrain Tripodal Attackers
Players who want a walking, leg-driven creature in their world can add All-Terrain Tripodal Attackers, which adds a single mob called the Wanderer.
What it does
The Wanderer walks on several legs and moves across uneven ground, which lets it work its way over the surrounding terrain. Its legs are drawn as simple lines, with the leg currently moving shown in red and the others in black, so the motion stays readable at a glance. Wanderers tend to handle climbing cliffs poorly and often get stuck in random caves or on the ground.
Wanderers follow nearby players and can be ridden. A player can right-click one within reach to take control of it. Two game rules change how the mob behaves: one decides whether the Wanderer damages nearby entities when its legs hit the ground, and the other decides whether it seeks out and follows player targets.
The source code and issue tracker are public, but the license is All rights reserved, so the mod is not open source. The server and every player need the mod installed. Files are published for Fabric only, for Minecraft 1.21.1, with 1.0.5+1.21.1 as the latest build from December 23, 2025.
