Aquatic Torches Renewed adds waterproof torches that can be lit and placed underwater, using the same coal-fired recipe as ordinary torches.
What it does
Torches made from the mod keep burning underwater, so an entrance to a submerged base can be lit from the water surface down to the floor. The light level is slightly brighter than a regular torch, at 15, which helps in the vast dark of ocean floors. Glowing squids are used in the recipe alongside glowing item frames, which sets the torches apart from vanilla ones. The mod is open source under the MIT License and runs on the client and the server, both needing it, with files for 1.21.9 – 26.1.1 on Fabric and NeoForge.

Waterproof torches
Torches stay lit underwater and can be placed on the seabed, where ordinary torches go out.
