Waystone Towers adds tall towers that generate on the surface, and when the Waystones mod is installed, a waystone can sit on top of a tower.

What it does

The mod places four tower variants into the world as vanilla-friendly structures that spawn at random on the surface. Each variant is tied to a set of biomes: one group settles into forest and woodland biomes, another into spruce and jungle terrain, and a third across the cold surface biomes such as snowy plains and ice spikes, excluding snowy beach and frozen peaks. Every tower holds loot at its top.

The author describes the towers as inspired by Towers of the Wild, which itself drew on the Breath of the Wild towers in The Legend of Zelda. Waystone Towers is server-side only, so players join without installing it, and the server alone runs it. Files are published for Fabric, Forge and NeoForge across six game versions, 1.18.2 – 1.21.4, and the license is All rights reserved, so the code is not open source. Waystones are not included in the mod itself; the Waystones mod must be installed for a waystone to appear on a tower.

Does Waystone Towers need the Waystones mod?
