Villager Contracts

by Invadermonky

Villager Contracts lets a player change the profession of a villager by using a contract item on it.

ForgeClient and serverMIT LicenseOpen source1.12.2

What it does

Using a Villager Contract item on a villager switches that villager to a different profession or career, as set by the contract. Holding Shift while hovering over the item lists the contract names that are valid. The mod is a Forge addition for 1.12.2, and the environment is client and server, so both the server and every player need it. It is released under the MIT License and is open source.

Key features

  1. Profession change item

A contract item changes a villager into a chosen career when it is used on that villager.

  2. Valid contract names

Holding Shift over the Villager Contract item shows the names of the contracts that can be used.

  3. Blacklist and logging options

Server owners can block certain entities from contract interaction and enable a log of registered villager professions.
