Trimmier Trims

by soldship

Trimmier Trims adds nine armor trim materials, each taken from a Minecraft item such as Blaze Powder, Ender Pearl or Nautilus Shell, for use in the smithing table.

FabricForgeNeoForgeQuiltServer required, client optionalMIT License1.21 – 1.21.3

What it does

Each new material is linked to a vanilla item and gives armor a distinct color or texture when applied as a trim. The set spans fiery tones from Blaze Powder and Magma Cream, cool tones from the Breeze Rod, and aqua tones from the Nautilus Shell and Prismarine Shard. Echo Shard, Ender Pearl and Shulker Shell cover the remaining looks, with Echo Shard giving an ancient-city feel and Shulker Shell a boxy texture.

The mod runs on the server, and players need nothing installed for the trims to appear on their armor. Only the server requires it, while clients may leave it out. Builds exist for Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt, and a data pack version is also available. Game versions 1.21 – 1.21.3 are covered, with 1.0+mod for 1.21.3 as the latest file, first published and last updated 2024-11-01. The code is under the MIT License and is not open source.
